When we discovered these pieces in 2023, we were instantly taken by their incredible design, superb craftsmanship, and true Scandinavian soul. Alessandro and I reached out, connected virtually at first, and immediately knew we’d found a kindred spirit in their founder—someone who values the same things we do: Integrity, professionalism, kindness and ethical business practices.

Later, Alessandro visited in person, met their incredible team, saw every design up close, sat in all the chairs and sofas, and toured their production. Everything was so beautifully made and produced under such good conditions—it just felt right. We were deeply impressed not only by the timeless beauty and quiet sophistication of their pieces, but also by their integrity, authenticity, and genuine care for how they do business.

After more than a decade of building SOBU, we don’t take on new brands lightly. This one truly resonated with us, and we couldn’t be more excited to finally share the first of their designs with you.
