Shipping
At SOBU, we’ve been shipping our exceptional designs across the U.S. for over a decade. We know how important a smooth delivery is, so we’ve fine-tuned every step to make it as seamless and stress-free as possible.
We ship within the 48 contiguous United States. For Alaska, Hawaii, and international orders, please contact us for a custom quote.
Standard Delivery
We offer free standard delivery on nearly all furniture and rugs, with a few exceptions. Your order will be delivered to your front door. In-home placement and assembly are not included with standard delivery.
Premium In-Home Delivery & Assembly
Orders over $2,500 automatically receive free in-home delivery—our most premium service. This includes:
- A scheduled delivery appointment
- Delivery inside your home, to the room of your choice
- Any required assembly
- Removal of all packaging materials
For orders under $2500, you can upgrade to Premium In-Home Delivery for just $195.
Made-to-order designs and orders under $2,500 that include large, heavy, or bulky items, in-home delivery is typically required for a flat $195 fee.
In the rare event that your order arrives in less than perfect condition, please reach out to us as soon as possible. Be sure to include photos of the item and the packaging so we can quickly assess the situation. And please hang on to all the original packaging materials, as we may need them if a pickup or return is necessary.
Returns
In-stock items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund, minus a 15% restocking fee and any shipping fees originally paid (if applicable). We’ll cover the cost of return shipping.
All items must be inspected upon delivery. Any damage, defects, or issues must be reported to us within two (2) weeks of delivery to be eligible for a claim.
Returned items must be in brand-new, perfect condition and shipped back in their original packaging.
Made-To-Order Returns
Made-to-order items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for store credit. A 15% restocking fee will be deducted, along with any original shipping fees paid at checkout. We’ll cover the cost of return shipping.
All made-to-order products are clearly labeled on their individual product pages.
To be eligible for return, items must be in brand-new condition and in their original packaging.
Custom Designs
Custom designs are final sale and not eligible for return or cancellation once production has begun. Any product that is custom will be labeled as such on its listing page. This includes designs that customers bring to us for special production.
Outlet Sales
Sales from our Berkeley Outlet are all final sale and non-returnable.
