We're open for biz! Yesterday was a powerful day for us. I arrived at the store, adjusted, swept up leaves that had sneaked in from under the door, tidied up a bit here and there, took a deep breath and pulled the white paper off the glass. Light poured in. Alessandro was there in spirit and joined me later, as he was at the hospital visiting a close family member. It was a bittersweet day for us. I am posting a few photos from a day which brought promise and sadness as later that day we lost this person. Cheers to all the friends and family who stopped by and to the new friends we have already made both from the immediate neighborhood and beyond.
