The pillow collection is inspired by the work of Josef and Anni Albers, Sophie Taeuber-Arp and Luis Barragán. Focusing on the interaction of color and scale and fusing traditional weaving techniques with modernist design principles, each design is created using a layering of squares to create a visual dialogue between colors.
Woven by hand in Mexico by master weavers using the pedal loom. Our weavers use locally sourced wool which is dyed by hand, and the pillow’s reverse is made from hand-loomed cotton. Each piece takes approximately two-three days to finish. Designed by Ania Brzeski of IF A THEN B.
